Sie haben Lust auf einen interkulturellen Austausch mit anderen Studierenden mit Bezug zur beruflichen Bildung innerhalb der EU GREEN Alliance? Sie können sich vorstellen unsere studentischen Gäste unserer Partneruniversitäten (aus Schweden, Spanien, …) gastfreundlich in Empfang zu nehmen und nebenbei ihre Englischkenntnisse weiterzuentwickeln bzw. aufzufrischen?
Die Herausforderungen beruflicher Bildung (Vocational Education and Training – VET) sind zunehmend komplex: Globalisierung, Digitalisierung, soziale Ungleichheit, Heterogenität in Lerngruppen und der Wandel der Arbeitswelt erfordern reflektierte, wissenschaftlich fundierte pädagogische Professionalität. Ein interkultureller Austausch eröffnet hier wertvolle praxisorientierte Lerngelegenheiten sowie Einblicke in sowohl gleichartige als auch alternative Konzepte beruflicher Bildung innerhalb Europas: Im April 2026 planen wir bei uns am Lehrstuhl für Wirtschaftspädagogik das Seminar “VET and VET TEACHER TYPES – a cross-national comparison” als BIP (Blended Intensive Programme) gemeinsam mit der Universität Gävle (Schweden) und der Universität Extremadura (Spanien) mit dem Fokus auf berufliche Bildung (VET) abzuhalten:

Die Idee ist, die Kursstruktur für verschiedene Gruppen von Studierenden innerhalb der EU GREEN Alliance zu öffnen und sicherzustellen, dass der Fokus nicht nur auf verschiedenen Berufsbildungssystemen, -programmen in einem länderübergreifenden Vergleich liegt, wobei insbesondere SDG 4 „Hochwertige Bildung“ berücksichtigt wird. Zudem soll ein Lernraum geschaffen werden, in dem sich Studierende (und Lehrkräfte) untereinander austauschen können, um mehr darüber zu erfahren, wie Lehrkräfte in der beruflichen Bildung in Deutschland, Spanien und Schweden ausgebildet werden und um Bildungseinrichtungen im Bereich der beruflichen Bildung kennenzulernen, die verschiedene Zielgruppen wie Auszubildende, Neuankömmlinge / Geflüchtete unterrichten. Im Zentrum werden somit praxisorientierte Dialoge mit und Hospitationen zu Institutionen im Feld der beruflichen Bildung im Raum Magdeburg sowie die gemeinsame Reflexion stehen.

Dear students,
you would like to go on an intercultural exchange and meet other students with points of contact to vocational education and training (VET) within the EU GREEN Alliance? You would like to be our guest at the University of Magdeburg and experience some insights into not only the field of VET over here but also visit some historical sights?
The challenges facing Vocational Education and Training (VET) are becoming increasingly complex: globalization, digitalization, social inequality, heterogeneity in learning groups, and changes in the world of work require reflective, scientifically and pedagogical professionalism. Intercultural exchange opens up valuable practice-oriented learning opportunities and insights into both similar and alternative concepts of vocational education and training within Europe: In April 2026, the Chair of Business Education is planning to hold the seminar “VET and VET TEACHER TYPES – a cross-national comparison” as a BIP (Blended Intensive Program) together with the University of Gävle (Sweden) and the University of Extremadura (Spain), focusing on vocational education and training (VET):

The seminar is designed for VET teachers to be and students interested in VET systems, VET programmes and VET teacher types linked to the SDGs.

The participation in Blended Intensive Programme may be covered by an ERASMUS+ SMS Short Mobility Grant for all participating students. This financial support may only be guaranteed by the selected student’s home University*. Please refer to your local coordinator or Erasmus+/International Relations Office for any further information related to the financial support made available. Students enrolled in a University in a non-EES country will be subject to a course fee.

The idea is to open up the course structure to different groups of students within the EU GREEN Alliance and to make sure, to not only focus on different VET systems in a cross-national comparison taking especially SDG 4 “quality education” into consideration. But also to create a learning space, where students (and teaching staff) can exchange with each other to get to know more about how VET teaching staff gets developed in Germany, Spain and Sweden and to get to know educational institutions in the field of VET delivering VET to different target groups like apprentices, newcomers / refugees. The focus will therefore be on practical dialogues with and visits to institutions in the field of vocational education and training in the Magdeburg area, as well as joint reflection.
